What's included in a meter box repair kit?

Do I need one repair hinge or two?
One repair hinge is usually enough when a single original hinge point has failed and the other side still supports the door securely. If both original hinge points have failed, or the door is particularly large or heavy, two repair hinges — one upper and one lower — can provide a more secure repair.
When is a repair kit not the right option?
A hinge repair kit is intended for a door and cabinet that are still broadly serviceable. If the door is missing, badly cracked, or the cabinet itself is structurally damaged, a replacement door or enclosure may be more appropriate. Never use a cabinet repair as a reason to interfere with the meter, wiring, pipework, regulator or seals.

Is this better than tape?
